Job Title: Strategic Asset Planner
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Asset Planner to join our Estate Directorate.
About the Role:
As the Strategic Asset Planner, you will lead the development and implementation of an optimized asset performance management program. Working within JCU's Strategic Asset Management Framework and maintenance strategy, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing business activities, managing risks, and ensuring legislative compliance.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Oversee the lifecycle management of the University's built and natural environments, optimizing performance and improving compliance.
* Mitigate asset management risks, including safety, financial, and operational risks, by collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.
* Drive the development of strategic asset management frameworks, maintenance, and replacement programs to achieve prioritization outcomes.
* Implement a whole-of-business approach to asset planning, transforming operations and enhancing reporting and compliance practices.
* Foster a culture of high-quality asset management by building strong stakeholder relationships and promoting effective engagement and education.
* Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on teamwork, innovation, and employee wellbeing.
Requirements:
You will need tertiary qualifications and extensive asset management experience, bringing advanced technical expertise in asset management, supported by a proven track record of delivering strategic asset planning services within large and complex organizational settings, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation and standards.
