NSW Government Agency Contract Role - Until 31/01/25 7 Hours per day Sydney Olympic Park Location $32-50 p/h + Super (Depending on Experience) Key accountabilities of the role: Perform all necessary operation and maintenance works to ensure water quality compliance with NSW Health and other statutory requirements. Conduct daily inspections of plant and equipment, carry out minor repairs and if necessary call out maintenance contractors to ensure safety, continuous operation and compliance. Complete all works as per the maintenance programs and work instructions. Maintain accurate data and information for plant operations including pool filtration and chemical dosing. Perform repairs that are allocated through maintenance management system, MEX in accordance with safe method statements. Install new works and fittings as required. Review and mitigate risks associated with Venue maintenance. Key Challenges of the role: Maintain service delivery expectations at the Aquatic Centre during peak seasons. Ensure all equipment is operational. Essential Skills and Experience: Experience in the operation and maintenance of water plant and equipment within an Aquatic Centre. Experience in monitoring, recording and logging of pool plant operations including filtration plant, chemical dosing and testing. Requirements: A Working with Children Check is an essential requirement for this role. The role has been identified as requiring a check in keeping with the Child Protection (Working With Children) Act 2012. Current Drivers licence. Forklift licence.
