The role:
1. Prepare information for inclusion in financial reports, ensuring compliance with monthly end reporting deadlines.
2. Coordinate the timely and accurate submission of Minimum Data set information.
3. Undertake accounting functions as required, such as processing finance and salary journals, to support the provision of accurate information to service managers and funding providers.
4. Prepare reports in accordance with funding agreements, ensuring compliance with documented timeframes, this includes the preparation of financial acquittal reports and output variation reports for external funding providers.
5. Provide the Business Manager with quality assurance results and recommendations for improvement, assisting with implementation of improvements.

6. The Business Team NW is a multi-disciplinary, supportive and dynamic Team encouraging the best from all staff to better support the Tasmanian Health Service
7. The Business Support Officer position assists the support of the Primary Health Service under the Tasmanian Health Service in the NW
8. The Business Team support the Tasmanian Health Service in the NW comprising of Mersey Community and North West Regional Hospitals along with Primary Health Services.
Details of Appointment
Fixed term, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for 2 years period.

Position Features:
10. The occupant of this role will be required to visit other Primary Health sites across the region on a regular basis
11. Some additional statewide travel may be required
Location: North West, Tasmania
Salary: $77,213 to $88,851 per annum + 11% superannuation

13. Holds, or is working towards, an appropriate qualification in business/finance administration or equivalent industry experience
