The role sits at a Group Manager level and is part of the Senior Leadership Team within the organisation. The Head of Impact will be focused on continuous improvement across our services and programs and work with senior managers across Launch to identify the impact they are creating and understand and document what’s working well and why and what changes need to be made.The role will work closely with Executive Directors and other Group Managers to implement our organisation-wide Outcomes Framework and lead the development of the Annual Impact Report and Insights Paper Series. The Head of Impact will also contribute to organisation-wide initiatives, business development and advocacy efforts. The role has responsibility overseeing our client data warehouse, data analytics and mandatory reporting to the Government.At Launch Housing, we believe that leadership is not defined by position or title – but by the mindset you bring and the actions you take. This role is aligned to the Leading Leaders proficiency level within the framework, reflecting the responsibility to drive strategic outcomes and influence cross-functional teams to achieve broader organisational goals.What you'll be doing:Overseeing the implementation of the org-wide Outcomes Framework, including updating the 10 Impact Measures as and when required. Ensure the Outcomes Framework and Impact Measures continue to align with Launch Housing’s Theory of Change.Leading the development of the annual Impact Report and the Insights Paper Series. Oversee other relevant Research projects, and work closely with the Partnerships and Engagement team to ensure that reports are tailored to an external audience.Ensuring that client voice and lived experience is incorporated as part of Launch Housing’s impact measurement efforts and across all deliverables.Working with Portfolios and senior leadership to conduct quarterly learning and reflection sessions that contribute towards the annual impact report.Overseeing the development of program logics for key program or service delivery areas across the organisation, including developing, planning and implementing practical monitoring and evaluation frameworks, using a mixed methods approach.Working with teams across the organisation to build evaluation and continuous improvement capability, embedding M&E methods in programs and activities and supporting teams to better understand the impact their programs are having.Overseeing and/or undertaking service reviews and program evaluations to support evidence-based practice in the planning and delivery of programs.Overseeing the overall management and integrity of Launch Housing’s client data systems.Overseeing and quality assuring mandatory reporting to the Government and other funders led by the Portfolio Reporting and Analytics Lead and the Monitoring and Evaluation Lead.Contributing to grant applications and tender submissions, advocacy and conference papers, and panel discussions.Managing the performance of the RED team to deliver consistent and high-quality deliverables.What we're looking for (key selection criteria):Tertiary qualifications in evaluation, research, public policy and advocacy, community services or equivalent practical experience.Experience in organisation-level impact measurement will be viewed favourably.Demonstrated experience using evaluation and research findings for internal learning and continuous improvement, and external advocacy to Government, philanthropy and the private sector.Advanced communication skills – both written and oral – and the ability to synthesise and tailor complex information into clear and concise digestible products for a diverse audience.Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to build relationships and trust with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated empathy and understanding of the issues faced by people at risk of or experiencing homelessness, and the staff who work with them.Demonstrated commitment to the values of Launch Housing and our mission to end homelessness.How to applyTo apply for this opportunity, please click on "Apply for this job" button.
