The Client: An private developer with a solid track record developing quality projects throughout Australia.
They have a diverse portfolio of boutique resi, commercial office, mixed use retail and industrial assets which they develop and hold.
The role and individual: This is a new role due to growth on the portfolio.
It will see a candidate manage the full life cycle of c 3-4 projects at one time of varying type (this will be led by the candidates past experience) giving exposure to the following: design town planning sales and marketing feasibility management tender delivery With a number of projects heading into construction the client is looking for someone with solid delivery experience working across projects of some scale and quality.
They do not use PM consultants so this individual will be heavily involved in managing the build trough the construction phase.
With a tight nit team and a commitment to training and development the client are happy to develop skills in the front end if the candidate posses strong back end PM skills.
Must have: a property related degree Exposure to EITHER resi, industrial, mixed use retail or commercial projects Be incredibly well presented Have high emotional intelligence Have a true passion for developing projects of quality with a strong worth ethic and attention to detail This is an outstanding opportunity for an APM or PM to make the transition to a developer in a DM role.
Equally it might suit a DM wanting to move to a developer with an expanding portfolio of quality projects.
Please note this role is based in Richmond and will require 5 days a week in the office due to the nature of the business and to get mentorship and professional development required to succeed.
