About the ROLE As a Site Installer at UNITA, you will join a high calibre of employees in our Project Delivery Team. You will be responsible for executing plans and building interiors for retail shops, restaurants, bars and other commercial businesses. You may also be responsible for coordinating deliveries, supervising vendors and tradesmen, and communicating with management. What YOU will be doing Preparing detailed, accurate design plans Making shopfronts, frames, units and fittings using a range of materials such as wood, metal, glass or plastic amongst others Creating interiors for the retail, Wellness and heritage sectors, or Commercial offices, restaurants and bars Overseeing projects and arranging for subcontractors to do plastering, flooring, heating, lighting and soundproofing etc Estimating material quantities and costs Measuring and setting out jobs on site Working in workshops or client businesses in noisy, dusty, cramped conditions. Site clean up and defect rectification Adhere to Unita’s quality standards What YOU will bring to the role A minimum of 3 years working within a commercial construction environment (fit out desired). Valid Australian Driver’s License. Trade Qualifications in Cabinetmaking, Joinery, Carpentry or Shop Fitting. OH&S White Card. Current First Aid and CPR Certification, or willingness to obtain. Full legal working rights in Australia.
