The Position
The Department is seeking a Urologist to join the team on a full time basis.
You must either hold the FRACS or have been assessed by RACS and only require 12 months practice under peer review.
The Location
Our client is located in one of Australia’s most beautiful coastal locations with idyllic tropical islands on your door step and a relaxed way of life. This is a large regional city with a local population of over 60,000 and a regional population of over 120,000. The local area has a developed infrastructure including great private schools, shopping, restaurants and the beautiful natural tropical surrounds.
The Facility
This accredited teaching hospital has recently enjoyed a major $408 Million overhaul and expansion doubling the number of beds to over 300 and increasing the size by 40,000m2 including a new Emergency Department. This is now a state of the art fully modern hospital and one of Australia’s largest regional healthcare facilities.
The Requirements
One or more of the following:
* Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
* Possess at least 12 months recent experience as a Urologist
* Hold or be eligible for the FRACS
* RACS trainee approaching Fellowship
* IMG's assessed by RACS and found to be substantially comparable.
