Detailed DescriptionIn This Role, You Will Be Responsible For Fabricating complex research prototypes using technical fabrication equipment and processes Instructing and supporting undergraduate and postgraduate research students on the use of a large number of fabrication equipment and machines within the workshop facilities Ensuring all necessary consumable components are available for use Helping run induction under the direction of Senior Technical staff, including providing demonstrations on how to run machinery, explaining manufacturing techniques, and supporting students, academics and technical support staff Directly assisting the Senior Technical staff for any workshop duties requiring support Performing routine equipment maintenance including; equipment calibration, replacing damaged components, maintaining the cleanliness of equipment, and workshop space.
