About the role:
Reporting to the Regional Administrative Manager, this role is responsible to ensure an effective and efficient confidential personal assistant role to the Acute Nursing Director and Head of Unit Acute inpatient and ED/SSU Mental Health across SALHN / Mental Health. Duties for the role may include:
Providing a secretarial service to committees by organising meetings and rooms, preparing agendas, keeping records of meetings and disseminating information
Scribing minutes, typing and distributing in a timely manner
Undertaking work with minimum supervision, prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines and maintaining a highly organised work environment
About you:
Ability to communicate effectively, with all levels of personnel, both verbally and in writing
High-level word-processing skills
Previous relevant experience in a health setting
Experience in preparing agendas and taking minutes
Proven experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages
