Join to apply for the Senior Environmental Advisor role at DT Infrastructure DT Infrastructure have been awarded the contract to Design, Construct and Commission a large scale renewables project in the Upper Hunter region. We are seeking experienced Environmental Advisors to join our team. Reporting to the Environmental & Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent environmental performance across the project.
RESPONSIBILITIESEnsuring that the CEMP is effectively established, implemented, and maintained at the project levelEnsuring compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations, rules, procedures, standards and policiesProvide specialist environmental advice to all functional managers, particularly Design, Procurement, Commercial and Construction, to ensure environmental obligations are integrated across all Project delivery functionsConduct ongoing risk management and hazard identification processesManage specialist consultants to ensure all contract requirements are metCoordinate accident/incident investigations and produce environmental bulletins and alertsMonitoring of environmental aspects including soil, water, noise, etc.Conduct inspection and assurance processesABOUT YOURelevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering or similarDemonstrated experience in a similar role (2+ years in infrastructure construction preferred)A passion for developing and implementing sustainable solutionsAbility to influence project teams and subcontractorsCertified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (preferred but not essential)WHAT WE OFFERRemuneration - Competitive salary + company benefits including Paid Parental Leave, External Study Financial Assistance, Salary Sacrifice Superannuation, Novated Leasing, Employee Assistance Program, Corporate Discounts and Industry MembershipsJob Security - This is a permanent, full-time position.
