YOUR NEW ROLE
As a Provisional Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor, this opportunity will see you identify and address the critical physical, psychological, social, environmental and organisational risk factors which may have an impact on a worker's ability to successfully return to work. You will provide strategies to address these factors in practice.
* Complete return to work case management for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme.
* Provide holistic support to help restore an individual's highest level of functional performance through relevant assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments and Vocational Assessments.
* Deliver Vocational Counselling and facilitate interventions, well-being programs, training and upskilling.
* Collaborate and liaise with individuals, employers, medical and other allied health professionals.
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN US
* Professional registration with AHPRA as either a Provisional Psychologist (currently undertaking a 4+2 or 5+1 internship pathway) or a Registered Psychologist, along with a relevant psychology qualification or hold ASORC full or associate membership as a Rehabilitation Counsellor, supported by a relevant qualification.
* Current drivers’ licence and access to own transport.
* Ability to obtain a Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
