Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for understanding the technical aspects of our product offerings, engaging with clients to provide tailored solutions and assisting to drive sales growth.This role demands both technical expertise and strong sales acumen to effectively communicate complex solutions to consulting engineers and contractors.Key Responsibilities :Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Plasma Shield's HVAC product lines, including positioning, benefits, and technical specifications.Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, including mechanical engineers, contractors, and facility managers.Expert Advice: After training and understanding the client needs, provide expert advice on PlasmaShield's products, demonstrating how our bio-HEPA technology can address client challenges.Sales Strategy and Tactics: Implement effective sales strategies to target key markets such as hospital and commercial sectors.Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct product presentations and live demonstrations, highlighting the technical advantages and operational benefits of Plasma Shield products.Proposal Development: Prepare detailed proposals, including pricing, options, and timelines, ensuring clients have a full understanding of the product's value.Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering and product development, to provide customer feedback and assist in product enhancement.Occasional Travel: Perhaps 6 times per year you will travel interstate to conferences, trade shows, or similar to represent Plasma Shield with colleagues.Required Experience, Qualifications and Attitudes :Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, or trade equivalent.Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.A team player who thrives in a role that combines technical knowledge with customer service excellence.A professional with excellent people skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the Sales Team, Engineering, Design, and Marketing departments.A lifelong learner mentality.An ability to take the work seriously, but not yourself.Must have the legal right to currently work in Australia.Desired but not Mandatory Experience & Qualifications :2+ years of experience in technical sales or sales in the HVAC industry.A background that includes consulting mechanical engineering.Experience in the hospital engineering, HEPA, UV, or any other decontamination domains.Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a technical sales environment.Seniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Management and Manufacturing, HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing
