As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Operations Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team and ensure the smooth and efficient running of our onsite operations. JOB OVERVIEWAs the Operations Site Supervisor, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day management of our commercial flooring projects onsite. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will oversee contractors and internal teams, ensuring that all jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will also be responsible for planning, logistics, safety, and quality control, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESa) Day-to-Day Operations: Assist the Operations Manager in the coordination and execution of daily operational activities.Work with contractors and supervise SCF staff on-site, ensuring they understand the scope of work, client expectations, and job processes.Plan ahead to optimize time and cost efficiency for upcoming projects.Manage product, vehicle, and equipment availability & ordering to ensure smooth project execution.Ensure subcontractor teams are fully prepared for jobs by verifying:Understanding of the work required,Availability of necessary products and equipment,Site readiness for job commencement,Delivery timelines & requirements.When required, participate as an onsite team member for projects or assisting with product, tools and equipment delivery.b) Ongoing Tasks: Oversee staff and subcontractor training, ensuring health and safety compliance through SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements) and Toolbox meetings.Manage SCF's Northgate depot, ensuring product and equipment are organized, stored properly, and readily available.Ensure the delivery of specified products aligns with installation standards, both for internal teams and subcontractors. KEY DUTIESa) Job Site Preparation: Assist in pre-site visits to assess requirements including product, access, equipment, safety documentation (SWMS/MSDS), and staff hours.Confirm product and equipment needs for contractors and coordinate logistics accordingly.Maintain accurate job records in Tradify, including job descriptions, works to be performed, and documentation like SWMS and work orders.b) Project Management: Supervise and motivate internal and contracting teams, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.Liaise with clients before, during, and after projects to confirm readiness, provide updates, and conduct sign-off inspections.c) Inventory & Equipment Management: Monitor stock levels and ensure timely ordering of products and consumables.Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse with well-maintained tools, machinery, and vehicles.Coordinate product returns, equipment repairs, and servicing to minimize downtime and ensure everything is operational when needed. KEY METRICS FOR SUCCESSa) Efficiency & Planning: Jobs run smoothly, delivered on time and within budget through proactive planning and resource management.Client expectations are aligned with operational delivery, resulting in high customer satisfaction.All job details and variations are properly documented, ensuring clear communication with customers and contractors.b) Logistics & Resource Management: Timely and accurate delivery of products, equipment, and consumables to job sites.Minimal downtime of equipment due to efficient maintenance and repair processes.Warehouse is organized, clean, and easy to navigate, ensuring resources are readily accessible.c) Staff & Contractor Oversight: Ensure all teams are properly trained, equipped, and fit for duty.Maintain up-to-date records for contractor fit testing, White card logs, and staff/contractor training. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & SKILLESPrevious experience in a supervisory role within the construction or commercial flooring industry.Strong knowledge of epoxy flooring products, equipment, and installation processes.Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong leadership and communication abilities, capable of motivating teams and liaising with clients effectively.Competency in using project management software (experience with Tradify is a plus).Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations, including SWMS.Valid driver's license.
