About the Role
This newly created role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for leading the People & Culture division. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will collaborate to drive the transformation of culture and elevate employee value proposition and brand.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the leadership of Fremantle Ports and deliver strategic initiatives that prioritise business outcomes.
* Develop and oversee the people and culture strategy, focusing on organisation development and establishing a culture that supports the strategic plan.
* Deliver high levels of engagement and visibility across internal and external stakeholders, motivating teams and fostering trust, commitment, and pride.
* Lead the provision of effective employee services, including recruitment, talent management, development, recruitment, and payroll.
* Champion the delivery of the employee value proposition.
* Provide oversight to the industrial relations program, ensuring compliance with implementation and dispute management.
* Influence and champion the safety culture to improve safety outcomes.
* Prepare high-quality papers for the Board and Sub Committees.
Requirements
To be successful, you will be a motivated and highly visible leader with significant experience in leading a People and Culture team. You will be a HR professional who has delivered HR strategies and initiatives in an industrial environment successfully through excellent leadership, engagement, and technical skills.
You will demonstrate a proven track record in achieving results, building organisation capability, and cultural change. Your leadership style should be authentic, proactive, personable, and genuinely motivated to connecting with people and enabling others to develop and succeed.
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Commerce, Law, or other relevant disciplines are essential.
