Our Perioperative Services Department provides surgical services across 16 theatres, and caters for adults and paediatrics with a variety of surgical specialties. MPHT boasts brand new state of the art theatre facilities, a catheterization laboratory, separate onsite day surgery facilities, as well as newly implemented robotic surgery involving the da Vinci Surgical System. Key Responsibilities: Undertaking Coronary Angiography, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, Pacemakers, Embolisation, Percutaneous Vascular Intervention, and Cardiac Electrophysiology procedures in Scout, Scrub and Monitor capacity. Delivery of exceptional patient care, demonstrating a level of skill in clinical decision-making and hands-on care. Deliver appropriate and accurate application of clinical assessment procedures to evaluate medical health status to identify and apply timely care intervention for best patient outcomes. Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision. Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth. Working with and supporting colleagues within a highly effective skilled team environment. About you To be successful in this role you will possess: Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA. At least 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting with relevant Cath Lab or Cardiac experience. Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded although not essential. Proven clinical competency and the ability to maintain the highest standards of nursing care. Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills to maximise patient care outcomes. Knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement of health care and nursing practice.
