About the Opportunity: Bowral Hospital is recruiting for a Registered Nurse to complement and enhance the current Paediatric ward.
What You'll be Doing: The Registered Nurse will provide safe, compassionate, quality, person-centred care and work in collaboration with patients/families/carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes.

Bowral & District Hospital is a new state-of-the-art hospital - opened in December 2020, with level 3 acute bed facility which provides a wide range of services including 24 hour Emergency Department, 2 Operating Theatres plus a Procedures room, Day Surgery, Endoscopy, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Critical and Coronary Care, Maternity & Paediatrics.

1. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. Demonstrated recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an environment appropriate to the relevant speciality.
3. Demonstrated ability to provide safe compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive.
4. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs.
5. Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.
6. Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidenced based nursing care.
7. Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.
