Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant in Western Australia. This landmark project will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, implementing the most sustainable production processes.

Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Senior Buyer to join our Supply Chain Team on site.
In this role, you will effectively support projects and corporate offices for existing and new work, along with awarded projects, by managing procurement activities including sourcing, RFQ, bid clarification, and conforming commercial agreements in the corporate and project execution phase.
Key Responsibilities
* Issuing conformed Purchase Order agreements in accordance with Clough procedures
* Managing overall procurement and delivery process for assigned packages and 'Bulks' type procurement
* Interfacing with Engineering Leads for timely issue of Scopes of work, MTO's, and associated documents for assigned RFQ packages
* Working with Vendor management to pre-qualify suppliers where required
* Ensuring use of existing MSA providers for relevant Goods and Services
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role as a Senior Buyer
* Documented experience of managing procurement of major equipment packages for Oil & Gas and/or Mining and infrastructure projects
* Exposure to EPC type lump sum and reimbursable projects
* Competent negotiation skills and ability to influence stakeholders
* Experience in expediting delivery of purchased equipment and associated Supplier documentation
* Basic knowledge and understanding of materials management systems and processes
* Practical experience of maintaining purchasing/expediting data in materials management systems
* Previous experience working with SAP would be highly regarded
