Day in the life of a Senior CMS & Streaming Apps QA Engineer at Optus Work with Products, Engineers, and business stakeholders to define test objectives, scope, policies, strategies, and plans for specific releases Partner with external organisations, supporting their goals as well as Optus' Maintain good working relationships across functional areas, including TV & Content Product Management teams, Networks, IT, and business delivery Influence and deliver complex streams of work in matrix environment Deal with a varied indirect team and a large extended group of stakeholders.
Your skills to pay the bills Proven experience as a Manual & Automation tester in video streaming & OTT technology Understanding of BDD framework Experienced in testing mobile, web, connected Tv application and backend API Understanding of network package tracing tools like Charles Proxy, Wireshark Demonstrable experience working with Content Management Systems Skilled in designing requirements and flowcharts; building and maintaining software programs and deployments Experience in AWS, SQL, JavaScript, Github and CircleCI Understanding of different streaming protocols HLS, CMAF, DASH Experience in setting up automation frameworks & managing automation testing applications like Runscope, Insomnia Thrive working in a faced paced environment.
