AGL has an opportunity for an Environment Advisor to join and help to deliver the Liddell Site Transition for the safe and sustainable retirement, decommissioning, demolition, rehabilitation and remediation of Liddell power station and eventually Bayswater power station.
This on-site role will support the Senior Environment Advisor and Environment & Approvals Manager in managing compliance with relevant project approvals and licenses.

What you’ll be doing:
* Assisting in developing the AGL Macquarie rehabilitation and remediation strategy.
* Supporting project compliance against relevant approvals, licencing and permitting.
* Providing support across the Liddell Transition Team around environmental management practice.
* Coordinating, scheduling and delivering monitoring required for compliance, due diligence and planning approvals.
What you’ll bring:
* Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering or equivalent.
* Practical understanding of NSW planning and regulatory framework for State Significant Developments.
* Demonstrated experience in operational compliance on large-scale projects.
* Collaborative and solutions-focused to multidisciplinary and complex environmental projects.
