An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Area Manager to join our Sales Team in the Eastern Suburbs. This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of Sales within our growing business and in turn, build your skillset and gain further experience. You will train, manage, and mentor our merchandising staff within your area and provide leadership to the merchandising team in line with company policies, vision, and values.Duties performed will include:Ensure merchandisers communicate marketing plans / promotional material at the store levelApprove merchandising hours worked daily in SIFLead, nurture, and develop your teams with respect and trust whilst developing succession for all key rolesLiaise with the HR department regarding WHS hazards and employee issues particularly surrounding onboarding, training, inductions, performance management, and resignationsEnsure a sufficient number of merchandisers are allocated to each storeCreate roster schedules for all merchandisers and manage them accordinglyManage the sales targets with each Merchandiser to store level - CORE and SORSupport the State Sales Manager with all sales functions and responsibilitiesReport all hazards, accidents, and incidents including environmental and COR matters immediately as per the reporting requirementsAbout You:Ability to lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve their goalsBe able to build relationships with staff and customersUnderstanding of the products or services including knowing the value propositions of their products, as well as the competitive landscapeAble to identify and solve problems for their customersMust be resilient and able to bounce back from setbacksFamiliarity with the sales process including building rapport, presenting solutions, and handling objectionsExperience in managing a team of at least four peopleA passion for the floral industry idealAre you ready to launch your career?If you are looking for a role with accountability for delivering real outcomes which are aligned with the overall people plan, during a period of growth and transition, then this role is the one for you.Seniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionCustomer Service, Management, and Quality AssuranceIndustriesManufacturing and Retail Florists
