Who we are Accent Home Care is a division of Tabulam and Templer Homes for the Aged (TTHA) who have been supporting older people for over 50 years. Accent Home Care has a range of services that extend to Home Care Packages (HCP), Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and private services. We are a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) provider with its origins in the Melbourne German Community. While we are located in Bayswater, we service metropolitan Melbourne. What the role is We are currently recruiting for a full-time Care Advisor in the Northern Region (Northcote, Lalor, Craigieburn, Plenty, Preston, Heidelberg, Greensborough), who has exceptional skills in sales, communication, relationships building, preferably with experience in the aged care sector. The role is critical in managing relationships and expectations of new consumers and their representatives, with focus on the Northern Region. The Care Advisor is critical to the growth of the business as they will be the first point of contact for new consumers and their representatives, managing and coordinating the intake, onboarding, and discharge. Furthermore, the Care Advisor will play a critical role in promoting the services by attending relevant community events and groups including Expos. About You You will be an enthusiastic and professional individual with a good eye for detail and have exceptional customer service focus. You will have a history of managing stakeholder relations and a demonstrated history of your achievements. You will need have some experience in HCP and CHSP funding and client centred approach. You will need to be a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability and initiative to work on your own. You will have demonstrated ability to interact with a diverse range of cultures, backgrounds & personalities; the ability to speak a European language such as German or Polish, or alternative is an advantage.
