ABOUT THE ROLE An experienced SAAS / Tech Sector Enterprise focused Business Development Representative (BDR) role. This role is based in Australia. Must be comfortable working independently and responsively in a fast pace and changeable environment. Applying a mix of soft and hard skills to discover, engage and win sales qualified leads focused on target enterprises; winning commitment to engage the Unravel Carbon Sales team to explore the adoption of the Unravel Carbon Platform. Must be passionate about climate-tech for a better future. Inbound lead management Applying qualification criteria to inbound leads from various sources such as web form, events, UC team personal networks and others Progressing viable opportunities through assessment, conducting desk research and securing initial meetings Conducting BANT/MEDDPICC qualification and progressing leads through to sales team Outbound opportunity development Leveraging desk research, tech solutions and analysis to build lead lists for hunting Applying research to identify the key persons in any given target enterprise Conducting various outbound methods to engage key individuals at target companies to bring them into the sales funnel Where necessary supporting the sales team working on active deals Support pitch and proposal decks and offers (where needed) Identify and act on new market development opportunities as they arise Contributing to the overall development of target markets for Unravel Carbon Exceptional communication skills ABOUT YOU Demonstrated track history in SAAS or similar B2B Enterprise in a BD capacity with demonstrable achievement of targets Willingness to learn, be self motivated, and thrive in uncertainty Can apply aptitude to learning climate science knowledge to ensure success in the role Detail-oriented, task-focused, and exceptionally results-oriented Required skills: Research and analysis Skills / Exp with MS PowerPoint / Google Slides / HubSpot & other tech platforms as needed Exceptional written communication skills Lateral thinker - can see opportunities and 'join the dots' when searching for multiple key contact points in large, multi divisional enterprises Tenacity; can push through objections to find novel and creative ways to connect with target enterprises Existing knowledge of Climate Change / Carbon Assessments YOUR WORK STYLE Focused and driven - achieving your objectives is critical to you Proposition minded, communicating ideas in a sales and customer centric way Analytical and detail-oriented, and fully capable of navigating and combining various data points to pull out key insights to generate and execute actions plans Self-starter (proactive and independent) with an ability to prioritise different assignments and tasks to meet deadlines Comfortable working in a collaborative environment Eager to think outside of the box and creatively problem-solve YOUR PREFERRED BACKGROUND A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Sales or Marketing or a related discipline, or 3+ years working experience in a related Enterprise BDR role.
