If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, we have an excellent opportunity for someone to join our Perth office as an Associate in our Corporate Team.
What will you be doing?
* Support the team on our larger corporate clients.
* Liaise with clients on their existing insurance programs and generally assist with their queries, researching available products for client needs.
* Liaise with underwriters, critically review quotations and always act in the best interests of your clients.
* Calculate premiums for new and existing business.
* Draft, prepare and process renewal declarations, reports, quotations, insurance manuals, Certificates of Currency, new business reports and quotations.
* Calculate and process adjustment premiums to policies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* To be a self-starter with strong organisation skills
* To be presentable, confident and professional as the role will require you to liaise with senior clients on behalf of our business.
* The ability to drive change and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Interpersonal skills to build relationships and liaise with clients, the team, and senior management.
You will need the following experience and qualifications:
* Tier 1 qualification in Insurance Broking
* Have at least 2-3 years of experience in the insurance/broking industry
* Understanding of invoicing procedures and file management
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel for reporting
* Knowledge of broking systems such as WinBEAT is desirable
* Knowledge of business package insurance is desirable
