Torrens Health is looking for a dynamic Financial Controller to assist with the continued growth of the business. Role Overview Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Controller will be responsible for accounts payable, payroll, financial reporting and statutory payments across all Torrens Health Entities. Key Responsibilities Ensure timely reporting and payment of all statutory payments for all entities including: Payroll Tax, Workcover, Retro Paid Loss and Superannuation; Assist the CFO and Finance Manager in the development of annual budgets and forecasts; Provide financial projections and scenario analyses to support strategic planning; Oversee compliance with tax regulations and manage relationships with external tax advisers to ensure accurate and timely tax filings; Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets; Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks. Skills, Knowledge and Experience The successful candidate must have relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance and a CPA qualification with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of payroll/finance systems and the ability to work with ICT to drive system efficiencies is essential. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of MYOB and MS Office, including Excel. Prior experience working in aged care and NDIS settings is desirable and a current driver's license is essential.
