Job Title: Nurse Practitioner in Emergency Care
We are currently recruiting for qualified Nurse Practitioners with a clinical background in an emergency care setting who are looking for an exciting career opportunity in Margaret River, the South West region of Western Australia.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will provide advanced nursing assessment, diagnosis, care and intervention to patients and families within the scope of practice of a Nurse Practitioner in emergency care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Demonstrated advanced clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of illness and injury relevant to the role.
* Well-developed clinical problem-solving skills including conceptual and analytical ability.
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills including negotiation skills.
* Sound knowledge of relevant legislative and health regulating Acts including legislative obligations.
* Experience in quality improvement, its practical application in meeting patients' needs and its relationship to strategic development.
To Be Successful:
You will have the following qualifications and experience:
* A valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
* A degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
* Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Proven experience in emergency care settings.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
