The Senior Project Officer role supports and oversees the day-to-day management of contracts for the repairs and maintenance of the road network and civil services across the Barkly Region.
You are responsible for managing the development and delivery of the routine maintenance program for roads and transport assets assigned in the Region, as well as providing contract administration and site supervision of civil maintenance activities, while monitoring contract performance.
Ideally, you will have a relevant qualification (awarded by an Australian institution) or experience in a field of technical work; however, sound knowledge and understanding of construction, maintenance, and management of residential properties will also support your application for the role.
The remuneration package for this position is $89,637 - $107,885 plus 11% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading, as well as 6 weeks recreational leave (on an accrued basis) and 3 weeks personal leave, 2 of which accrues annually.
