You will build key stakeholder relationships to develop cross-functional deployment plans and influence business decision-making on priorities, aligning change initiatives to Global, Area, Region and service line timelines.You will identify and solve risks, issues, interdependencies and potential areas of misalignment between global and local Talent initiatives. In addition, this position monitors and works to enhance the Talent Solutions offering by analyzing business requirements, identifying the correct subject matter experts to support the Talent Product Owners and chairing a cross-functional network of Talent leaders within their Area, Regions or service lines to oversee local deployment of Talent solutions.Some of your key responsibilities:Understand and identify where and how the full breadth of end-to-end and cross-functional Global Talent offerings can address the needs of the business; bring together Regional/local requirements to the Talent Solutions team.Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the Talent Executive, Area, Region and service line Talent teams.Build and manage strategic relationships with Area, Region, and service line Talent to develop a cross-functional view of all Talent initiatives within a specific Area, Region or service line.Act as a representative of the Area, Region and service line in Talent product governance forums and hold product owners accountable for delivering to the Area, Region or service line.Ensure alignment of strategic objectives, delivery and implementation plans across Areas, Regions and service lines.Work closely with the other Area Talent Solutions Senior Consultants to ensure alignment, encourage idea sharing and provide support as needed.Drive global alignment by ensuring Area, Region and service line Talent leaders understand available capabilities; collaborate effectively to enable a consistent global employee experience and advance cost efficiency and value.Use input from the global Talent process owners to develop change plans for embedding new Talent processes within the Area/Regions.Identify risks, issues, interdependencies and potential areas of misalignment between global and local Talent initiatives.Chair meetings, leading extended teams to ensure effective execution of Talent strategy and roadmap.Drive quality and performance standards.What we’re looking for:Here’s our ‘wish list’ but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go.Bachelor’s degree in HR or related discipline.Higher professional degree or Master’s qualification is preferred, not required.Experience in implementing deployment plans that align complex timelines to influence decision-making.Extensive experience in a closely related role and working at senior leadership levels to optimize strategic operations and ways of working.Extensive experience in interpreting business strategy and successfully sponsoring the execution of strategic priorities on a global level, ideally with experience across both emerging and developed markets.Extensive experience in sponsoring/championing service enhancement, frameworks, processes and standards in Talent, communicating challenging messages across the talent ecosystem or on behalf of Talent to senior leaders where necessary (in particular within Regions).Extensive experience leading and influencing across multiple levels of rapidly changing ambiguous organizations, providing credible trusted advice to address challenges, diagnose root causes of performance gaps and decide on options for moving forward.Extensive experience in proactively leading teams (internal or external) across a dispersed geography, with a wide range of market and regulatory requirements, to deliver exceptional results.Extensive experience in sponsoring the embedding of talent initiatives in global and matrixed organizations (such as EY), coaching leaders through complex impacts, overcoming resistance to change and proving return on investment.Extensive experience in working in fast-paced, ambiguous and stressful environments to deliver required results.EY acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which EY offices are located around Australia.
