Your expertise in traffic and drainage will be crucial in providing specialist advice for new developments and capital works proposals. You will conduct engineering investigations, recommend design solutions, and provide direction and support to the team. Additionally, you'll coordinate service authority works within the Shire and manage capital works projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.What You'll Need to Succeed Tertiary qualification in Engineering is required, with Professional Engineers Registration considered an advantage. Relevant experience in project management and assessing new development proposals. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, CAD software, and various computer applications. Understanding of local government legislation, infrastructure improvement works, and traffic management requirements. Strong negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills. The ability to liaise with stakeholders, including Councillors, residents, engineers, and contractors.
