As a private paediatric practice, we support children from birth to 18 years, providing family-centered assessment and intervention for babies, children, and teens. Qualifications & Experience B Sc (OT) or equivalent, recognized by OTC and AHPRA-registered Demonstrated initiative, teamwork, flexibility, and strong organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills AHPRA registration National Police Clearance within the last 6 months Current Working with Children's Check Current C-Class Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle Ability to manage and develop caseloads About the Role We are seeking a part-time or full-time senior Occupational Therapist to work at our clinic in South Perth, as well as conduct school and home visits. Some caseloads will include NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed. Our Occupational Therapists are responsible for: Working with children and adolescents on motor, sensory, behavioral, emotional, and cognitive needs Providing evidence-based interventions in both clinic and community settings Participating in clinical supervision and peer sessions Conducting initial assessments, and planning and implementing interventions across various settings, including clinic, school, day care, and home Leading small groups for fine motor, handwriting, social skills, and school readiness on school holidays Handling administrative tasks, such as progress notes, report writing, therapy resource development, and group program planning Delivering assessments and interventions in areas like fine and gross motor skills, handwriting, ADL training, social-emotional development, self-regulation, communication, and executive functioning Managing a caseload of children, providing family-centered assessment, intervention, and advocacy Completing reports and setting goals following NDIS and private sector protocols Collaborating with fellow OTs, teachers, and other professionals This role is perfect for a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist eager to make a positive impact in children's lives. Hours are within standard business hours, Monday to Friday, with potential weekend shifts if desired.
