This role will be reporting to General Manager of Strategic Solutions and will be based at our office in Welshpool.
About the role:
* Providing comprehensive technical support and tailored solutions for key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and successful project outcomes through proactive engagement and responsiveness.
* Assisting key accounts in achieving their objectives by identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, while ensuring IPD’s continued value in their operations and project success.
* Collaborating closely with the Strategic Solutions Team on pre-sales activities, including crafting innovative solution designs, assist in developing proposals, pursuing project opportunities, and delivering compelling technical presentations.
* Actively communicating client challenges and inquiries to internal teams, ensuring timely responses and effective follow-up to resolve issues and enhance overall client experience.
* Conducting engaging training courses for both customers and staff to foster knowledge sharing, and assisting in the development of marketing materials that clearly identify client needs and align them with our products and services.
* Serving as a mentor and resource for junior team members, sharing insights and best practices to enhance team capabilities, while also supporting national sales efforts with your technical expertise to drive solution adoption and facilitate market growth.
About you
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial automation, with a focus on PLC, SCADA and Historian. Exposure to industrial communications, RTU’s and IIOT will be held in high regard.
* Proficiency in GE Vernova software and Emerson PAC systems is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated experience in site-based architectures, system deployments, commissioning, and technical support.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.

* You must have a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar.
