About the company/role: Plastics manufacturing company Based in the Southeast suburbs of Melbourne Seeking a trades qualified Toolmaker/Fitter Casual on-going contract with potential to go permanent Afternoon shift (must be flexible with morning shift for training) Duties, but are not limited to: Oversee continuous & thorough upkeep of all production machinery across the manufacturing facility Work with the Maintanance Manager to ensure any potential risk to plant and equipment are realised, captured & actioned Give valuable feedback regarding all aspects of plant improvements, preventative maintenance and potential efficiency gains whilst maintaining time management around the weekly production schedule Ensure all safety issues are given high priority and are addressed with a sense of urgency Preventative maintenance, overhauls, small project work & fabrication work with a strong emphasis on machine up-time & reliability Skills/experience: Trade certified Toolmaker certificate Strong experience in maintenance/reliability within plastics, pharmaceutical, FMCG or other highly regulated industries Proven experience in maintenance, fabrication and troubleshooting within a high-pressured environment Must have experience with Injection Moulding machines Knowledge of MEX (Computer Maintenance Management systems) or similar Electrical D-license (nice to have) Ability to work unsupervised Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Apply!
