The Opportunity
In this role you will work closely with our operations and finance teams. You will assist in managing the Capex work in progress (WIP) and manage the aging profile of the WIP balance sheet.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Review all Capex jobs in the WIP, coordinating with the Operations team for job closure and status/information updates.
* Prepare files for invoicing as per agreed timelines and budgets.
* Review all Capex jobs for ageing and update accordingly.
* Assist in month end processes as required, including accrued income assessments.
* Balance sheet reconciliations including analysis, investigating discrepancies, balances & variances.
To be considered for this role you will:
* A degree in accounting.
* Hold your Professional Accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA, etc) – advantageous.
* Proven ability building strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
* Advanced level of computer literacy, including advanced Excel including Formulas, VLookups and Pivot Tables.
* Strong communication and presentation skills with staff and senior management.
*The position requires the successful candidate to conduct a police check*
