You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
1. Experience as a management accountant with extensive expertise in annual budgeting contemporary financial reporting, and forecasting and a thorough understanding of financing, cost and revenue structures, cost and revenue drivers, and the relationship between each.
2. Demonstrated ability to lead the provision of strategic and operational financial services, adopting a business partnering approach, experience with management accounting concepts, practices, and strategies; and financial management legislation, policies, and procedures.
3. Well-developed communication, negotiation, and consultation skills within a multidisciplinary workplace, including the ability to understand and communicate complex financial concepts and information to non-finance clients and stakeholders.
4. Experienced leader committed to developing a high performing team through inspired leadership.
About Corporate Services Divisions:
The Corporate Services Division provides support services necessary for Queensland Health to function effectively and deliver essential health services. The Division is responsible for major corporate functions including financial, legal, and human resources services, information management services and overseeing key governance functions such as risk, audit and compliance.
