The Exciting Opportunity
As a midwife with our client, you will play a vital role in enhancing health outcomes for Aboriginal families through culturally sensitive care.
You will work closely with the Child and Maternal Health Service, partnering with WA Health and community services to deliver essential healthcare services to approximately 3,000 families each year.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based nursing and midwifery care to reduce pregnancy risk factors, including prematurity and low birth weight.
* Provide clinical monitoring, referrals, and support for mental health and substance use, fostering relationships with Aboriginal community organizations.
* Ensure continuity of care with postnatal support, family planning education, and coordinated transitions to child health services.
Criteria to be Considered
* Current AHPRA Registration
* Current Drivers Licence
* Experience in Midwifery
* Willingness to relocate to Regional Western Australia
