Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our Community Residential Care Units (CRCU) team on a Part Time ongoing basis, working 32 hours per week.
The successful applicant will report to the Unit Manager and play a crucial part in providing care for inpatient clients, including administration of Intramuscular injections and oral medications at CRCU, Latrobe Regional Health.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor clients' physical and mental state, undertaking basic nursing observations and attending to clients' needs within scope of practice.
* Contribute to the completion of CASP/ITP and care planning documents in collaboration with clients, carers, significant others, and the multidisciplinary team, within scope of practice.
* Identify clients' early warning signs and report to the appropriate staff member.
* Participate in client reviews and discharge planning, in collaboration with the client, carers, significant others, and multidisciplinary team.
* Carry out clinical procedures only for which training, supervision, and level of competence have been achieved and recorded.
