We are seeking a talented mixed media collage artist for an upcoming client project that will animate and project collage work on digital screens. The ideal artist may either animate their own collages or produce designs that can be brought to life by an animator. They are looking for a bright, warm, and contemporary style that appeals to a general audience, avoiding retro, surrealist, or dark tones.
About the Role: This is a remote freelance role, although Canberra-based artists may have occasional opportunities for onsite collaboration. They are seeking someone who brings a fresh perspective and creative flair to each project.
Requirements:
* Strong portfolio showcasing cohesive, imaginative mixed media work (collage, illustration, photography)
* Experience in mixed media and collage
* Ability to translate complex themes into accessible, engaging visuals
* Flexibility to work remotely, with potential for onsite meetings in Canberra for local artists
