The role will report into the Director of Delivery based in the UK and work closely with the Country Director AU/NZ,Director of Technical Sales and Director of Asset Management. The role will be integral to establishing a high performing team, integrating suppliers and leading EV infrastructure.A TASTE OF THE DAY TO DAYWork directly with the Director of Delivery to build and subsequently line manage high performing delivery team across the AU andNZ Region.Commercial accountability for the portfolio of EV deliveryManage the implementation of the governance, plans and structure of the portfolios, programmes and projects to deliver the objectives of the business and respond to the changing priorities and demands on the businessManage performance and outputs of delivery and capability teams using clearly defined targets with a focus on safety, financial performance, business objectives and customer outcomesProvide departmental leadership and regional escalation across the portfoliosImplement project management principles and business processes providing end-to-end project assurance.Lead on project development and work closely with the Business Development and Technical Sales colleagues on new business and markets, establishing robust communication channels and working relationships across these teamsResponsible for ensuring that all Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to throughout the delivery lifecycleReview all project documents and information provided by a client/sub-contractor throughout the design processEnsure appropriate availability and allocation of resources as well as prepare regional monthly and board reporting.Asses tender submissions and with a view of finding additional value where possibleEnsure projects are delivered in accordance with the necessary consents, permits and licensesIdentify opportunities to improve best practices within the organisationRecruit and mentor a strong team of project professionalsA BIT ABOUT YOUEssential Competencies:10+ years' engineering experience in the delivery of high value and complex energy infrastructure projects, ideally in the electric vehicle spaceTertiary level electrical or construction qualificationsRelevant Project Management certification such as PMP, CPPM or Prince2 PractitionerStrong Project Management, facilitation, analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility in dealing with issues.Previous experience leading teams in a leadership positionStrong demonstrable commercial and contract experience across client and contractor organisationsStrong demonstrable experience administering construction contracts.Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring colleagues.Senior stakeholder and board level reporting experienceA desire to work in the renewable energy and green energy sectorExperience working with electric vehicle charge points and delivering high & low voltage networksStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent planning and organisational skillsPragmatic, proactive and solution drivenAbility to work in a fast pace and dynamic environmentGeneral WHS Induction White Card.
