We now have a permanent full-time role available within our Insights team based in Sydney (Pyrmont).
This role is Mon-Thu in the office and Friday WFH after an initial training period.
What you'll do as an Insights Analyst:The Insights Analyst provides support to Paramount's sales and content teams with analysis, research, and strategic recommendations.
They form part of the broader insights team responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of the audiences to Paramount's broadcast TV and streaming platforms.
This is a relatively junior role and an exciting opportunity to enter the dynamic world of media, advertising sales, and analytics.
Functions will include:Supporting sales brief responses with research and insights, utilising television ratings data and other sources.Daily creation of TV ratings logs.Ensuring sales, content, and communications deadlines are consistently met.Regular daily and weekly reporting & analysis of Paramount's audiences across broadcast and digital platforms.Ad hoc reports and insights for Content, Digital, Finance, Corporate Communications, and Marketing.What are we looking for in an Insights Analyst?
What's important?Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Media, Statistics, or a related field.Some experience working in research, broadcast or online media, or advertising sales is an advantage.Keen interest in media research and audience measurement.Knowledge and interest in TV content and video streaming platforms.Data analysis skills, and the ability to turn findings into actionable insights.Problem-solving skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines.High attention to detail and accuracy.Methodical approach to completing tasks.Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Genuine commitment to learning and being a team player.Experience with television ratings software such as Arianna, L&J eTAM or TechEdge would be amazing but definitely not essential.Paramount embraces differences and we welcome applications from people of all backgrounds.
