Melbourne IT & Telecomms Trainer Intial 3 months contract with possible extension Attractive and competitive hourly rates Hybrid work arrangement About the client: Our client is a local council in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne committed to delivering exceptional services to our community.Located in the heart of one of Australia's fastest-growing regions, prioritizing sustainable development, innovation, and community engagement.Key Responsibilities: The One Council Training Implementation Officer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a comprehensive training program to support the One Council initiative.You will ensure that training aligns with the organisation's strategic objectives, incorporates best practices and meets the needs of diverse stakeholders across all departments.You will: Develop a comprehensive training approach for the OneCouncil program, ensuring it aligns with the desired program outcomes and meets the training need of all stakeholders.Use the ADDIE model framework to plan, design, deliver and review the training program Ensure training content is relevant, engaging, and incorporates best practices in adult learning and organisational development to maximise knowledge retention and learning satisfaction Regularly review and update training materials to reflect organisational changes and evolving best practices.Work closely with relevant Project teams and subject matter experts to conduct training needs assessments to identify learning gaps and develop training solutions to meet specific needs and learning styles.Align training implementation approach with our current organisation practices in learning and change management.Act as a point of contact for employees and leaders seeking information or support regarding the OneCouncil training program.Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and courses for staff at various levels across the organization.Utilise a range of training delivery methods, including e-learning, Instructor-led training (classroom & virtual), and blended learning, to maximize engagement and knowledge retention.Design and lead Train the Trainer training sessions to selected subject matter experts to enable them to train other Casey staff.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of One Council training programs through feedback, assessments and performance metrics, and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.Work closely with the program change management team to ensure training initiatives support overall change management efforts and contribute to a smooth transition to One Council.Develop and implement feedback mechanisms to measure training effectiveness and participant satisfaction.Ensure all training documentation complies with the organisation's standards and is readily accessible for audit and reference.Required Skills/Experience: Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment or a similar professional qualification Demonstrated experience in leading the development and successful implementation of training programs for an IT Transformation Program, such as ERP or CRM implementation.Experience in change management within a government or public sector environment.Knowledge and experience in developing plans based on recommendations and requirements, providing necessary guidance to the project.Expertise in training delivery (e.g., Train the Trainer, hybrid models) and evaluation for successful outcomes.Experience in analyzing data from multiple sources to conduct training needs analysis and make recommendations.Effective written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.Strong and engaging facilitation skills in presenting and delivering coaching and training to large groups.Proactive problem-solving skills to address training challenges and user concerns Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities to work effectively with cross functional teams Does this sound like you?If you have the skills and experience we're looking for please click 'Apply Now', or please send your updated CV to ****** Alternatively please call 03 9643 3720 for a confidential discussion about the role.Apply Now
