Scope of Role
A Record Point Senior Technical Consultant engages with customers and colleagues to enable the adoption of Record Point software products.
You would be responsible for delivery of Record Point solutions and services to ensure successful product implementations and migrations.
You would be the advocate for technically forward solutions that drive value and outcomes for customers.
Architecting and implementing solutions with simplicity and effectiveness front of mind.
You'll be solving cool problems, dealing with large-scale data sets, and working with one of the best teams in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Engagement: Become a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business goals through communication and problem-solving.
* Conduct consultations to gather and document client requirements.
* Help customers define technical requirements and solutions with Record Point.
* Understand customers' success criteria and ROI.
Solution Design:
* Align Record Point solution designs to meet client needs.
* Collaborate with development teams on enhancements or customizations.
* Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and follow best practices.
* Contribute to tenders and RFx as needed.
Implementation, Migration, and Integration:
* Design and manage data migration and integration with technical teams and vendors.
* Develop migration tools and scripts.
* Resolve technical issues quickly during implementation.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve client outcomes.
* Support Project Managers in overcoming deployment challenges.
* Evaluate and reconcile information, distinguishing user requests from business requirements.
* Translate technical requirements into business outcomes.
Training and Documentation:
* Train customers and team members on using Record Point products.
* Create user guides and technical documentation as needed.
Communication and Project Management:
* Drive multiple initiatives to completion simultaneously.
* Define concepts with users and ensure timely milestone completion with project managers.
* Collaborate with other technical consultants in the team.
* Participate in project planning and estimating.
* Provide task status/updates to the PM.
Your Background
You will bring:
* 5+ years of experience implementing SharePoint and ECM/EDRMS solutions.
* 3+ years of experience working as a consultant in a client-facing environment.
* Experience in Azure, Office 365 Admin, Azure Active Directory.
* Experienced in the design, build, and deployment of Cloud solutions (PaaS and SaaS).
* Experience in migrating clients from on-premise services to modern cloud solutions.
Preferred qualifications include:
* Experience in Records Management or Information Management.
* Understanding of security principles and controls in cloud environments.
