Salary: Teacher, $85,610 - $124,046 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2023)
This is a permanent part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 2, 2025
We are an Independent Public School and our student enrolments come from within the surrounding Beaumaris, Ocean Reef and Iluka suburbs. Our school was established in 1991 and provides educational facilities for Years K to 6 (children aged 4 to 12 years). Important features of Beaumaris include our comprehensive specialist subjects program, consistent whole-school approaches in core subject areas and pastoral care, and our student leadership development program.
Our school fosters a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere dedicated to delivering high-quality language education. We place a strong emphasis on Professional Learning Communities (PLC), recognising their role in enhancing student outcomes. We seek motivated applicants with an in-depth understanding of the Western Australian Languages Curriculum and contemporary pedagogical practices to support second language learning. Applicants should have knowledge in teaching the Japanese Language, classroom teaching, and high-level Japanese speaking, reading and writing skills.
