We are proud of our Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6) model that supports collaboration between early childhood services and primary schools at every level, which provides continuity of learning for children and families as they transition from kindergarten to school. We are committed to promoting career support that is consistent, professional and available.The OpportunityAn exceptional opportunity now exists to take on a senior leadership role within our dynamic organisation. This newly developed role will provide leadership and support to our operations and programs across multiple sites delivering exceptional outcomes in quality education and care.The successful candidate will oversee the program and operational performance of 18 centres, focusing on KPIs such as quality, staffing, performance, occupancy and community engagement.This senior position reports directly to the CEO and involves forging strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, service partners, educational institutions and other parties as relevant.The role will:Support organisational growth and improvement, implementing strategies to enhance enrolments and operational efficiencies, including human resource support, grant applications and projects, in collaboration with managers of Operations, Area, Finance, People and Culture, and Communications and Engagement.Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Department of Education, Primary Schools and Councils.Conduct regular centre visits to monitor program quality, facility standards, and team performance, optimise centre operations and ensure full compliance and excellence according to the National Quality Framework.Foster a positive and supportive culture, encouraging professional growth and development within your team.Key Selection CriteriaTo be successful in this position, you will be required to demonstrate ability in the following areas:Extensive knowledge of relevant Frameworks, Laws and Regulations including the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010, The Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011, the National Quality Standards and the Early Years approved frameworks.Senior leadership experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting or in a comparable organisation with a focus on strategic operations and implementation.Knowledge of and commitment to current reforms and trends in early childhood education and care.Proven experience in managing multiple sites or locations.Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.In-depth knowledge of early childhood education principles, practices, and regulations.Ability to multitask, prioritise, and make sound decisions under pressure.Hold a current VIT registration, a bachelor’s degree in early childhood or similar discipline.Ability to build relationships and collaborate with external services and organisations.Philosophy aligned with the purpose and values of the organization.This is an opportunity to join a leading organisation with a unique integrated Kindergarten to Grade 6 Model and be part of a high-performing team dedicated to supporting the best outcomes for children and families.
