This Full time 9-month max term contract is based in Chatswood, Sydney, reporting directly to the Brand, Media, and Content Marketing Manager. In this role, you'll act as the social media expert, driving audience growth, engagement, and brand awareness across Carnival's owned social media channels. You will be responsible for content creation, influencer marketing, community management, and social media strategy to enhance the Carnival brand and support commercial goals.First things first, check out what is on offer!Competitive base salary + super.9-day working fortnight (compressed hours) - enjoy a long weekend every second week.Hybrid work model - 2 days WFH, 3 days in the office.Prime Chatswood location - close to shops, restaurants, gyms, and public transport.Amazing cruise discounts, travel perks, onboard experiences, and hotel discounts.Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Develop and execute organic social media marketing plans to drive engagement, audience growth, and brand awareness.Maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with marketing and PR activities, ensuring engaging, brand-aligned content across all social channels.Manage community engagement and social listening, responding to conversations, identifying brand opportunities, and mitigating potential risks.Lead and manage influencer collaborations, from outreach and negotiations to execution, working closely with agencies and partners.Monitor and analyse social media performance, tracking KPIs and engagement metrics to optimize strategy.Plan and execute live social media coverage during key events and onboard experiences to enhance real-time brand storytelling.About YouYou are a social media professional with a passion for content creation, engagement strategies, and brand storytelling. You thrive in fast-paced environments and have a keen eye for trends, analytics, and audience behaviour. A proactive self-starter, you take the initiative and excel at always finding creative solutions. Your ability to craft engaging content, manage online communities, and build relationships with influencers makes you a valuable asset to the team. Organized and meticulous, you balance multiple priorities effectively while being a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have:6 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or public relations.2 years Marketing experience.A proven track record in managing and growing social media channels.Proven video content creation experience - mandatory.Strong copywriting and content development skills.A solid understanding of social media trends, platforms, and audience engagement strategies.Experience in influencer marketing and partnerships.The ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights.Experience with paid social media campaigns (preferred but not essential).We are looking for someone with the right attitude to fit into our fun and supportive culture.
