This is the perfect opportunity if you are looking to grow your consulting and advisory career.Job DescriptionJoining KPMG's ABG practice as a Consultant in our Hobart Office you will be working directly with our clients.As a valued member of our ABG team, you will:
1. Continue to develop the wide variety of skills needed to help our clients bring their cutting-edge technologies to market (from technology development to business growth strategies to global market analysis).
2. Be able to rapidly review technical information and match salient parts to program funding requirements such as those of the R&D Tax Incentive and other programs to support our clients' growth.
3. Review and analyse financial information to identify costs that are eligible for government support such as qualifying R&D expenditure.
4. Build relationships and work with our clients' R&D technical teams, ClOs, CFOs, Tax Managers to understand their business and help them grow.
5. Demonstrate your skills with regard to work planning, scheduling and budgeting to work on a portfolio of clients.
6. Define your career within a collaborative team of professionals focused on achieving exceptional levels of service to our clients and each other.

11. Experience with the R&D Tax Incentive is highly desirable (ideally one to two years).
12. Information technology, Engineering, Science or related qualification; and/or Business, Commerce or Law related tertiary qualification is highly regarded.
13. Technology-centric with a passion for innovation and R&D.
14. Exceptional communication and report writing skills.
15. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
16. A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
17. An open and enquiring mind with a business focus and a desire to be in the office or on site with clients on a daily basis.
18. Applicants are required to possess a valid Australian driver's license.
