About your role:
Work cooperatively and effectively within the multidisciplinary team, and liaise with patients and their families, other health professionals, supervisors, students, and researchers as required.
Lead the development and delivery of health education and health promotions programs on foot health.
Deliver high level Podiatry clinical services and complex case management within the multidisciplinary High Risk Foot team using current evidence-based knowledge in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
Exercise independent judgement and problem-solving skills in matters beyond routine day to day practice with infrequent need for direct clinical supervision for the caseload management of patients requiring podiatry input within the Cairns Hospital and Hinterland Hospital and Health Services.
Provide leadership in the professional development and clinical practice supervision of less experienced clinicians, work experience students, or those involved in observational clinical placements, to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards.
