Clinical Nurse Educator - Graduate Transition Program (West)Grampians Health exists to serve our communities across the Grampians region, providing complete care as close as possible to people's homes.Fixed Term Part Time, 36 hours per week 12 Months About the RoleThis role offers a unique opportunity to coordinate and lead the Grampians Health Graduate Transition Program for West (Horsham/Dimboola/Edenhope), supporting new graduates as they navigate their transition into the healthcare environment. You'll be responsible for the seamless delivery of both theoretical and practical training, ensuring the program remains relevant and effective in developing the next generation of nurses, midwives, and paramedics.Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the Graduate Transition Program operationsPlan, supervise, and evaluate graduate learning experiencesOversee clinical rotations and administer study daysRecruit and onboard graduates following the PMCV Graduate Nursing & Midwifery Program (GNMP) Match rules and Code of Conduct, and Grampians Health policyProvide leadership, counseling, and support to graduates and staffEnsure program innovation through ongoing evaluation and improvementSkills & Experience A tertiary qualification in nursing practice and registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency as a Registered NurseA tertiary qualification in the field of adult education and/or Cert IV in TAE or working towardsAn understanding of education frameworks including Best Practice Clinical Learning EnvironmentExperience working within the healthcare setting, well-developed understanding of all clinical areas, disciplines and the ability to develop and maintain internal and external partnershipsAn understanding of administration and clinical workflows as they relate to the learners on placementWell developed IT skills, written and verbal skillsCollaborates effectively with others, promotes harmony, and builds trust by establishing strong relationships and encouraging conflict resolution.Interested?
