Your new role
They are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join a dynamic sales team. This role is based in Western Sydney and focuses on developing sales across Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. While a background in High Pressure Compressors and Purification systems, particularly in Breathing Air, Industrial Gases, and CNG, is preferred, candidates with a mechanical engineering background are also encouraged to apply.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have:
* A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in compressor or technical sales, or the gas industry.
* Proficiency with SAP or equivalent software.
* A proven ability to target new sales channels.
* Strong support skills to ensure excellent communication with end-users and key distributors.
* A track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets within the region.
* The ability to collaborate with Engineering to provide relevant information and drawings for quotations.
* Experience managing the distribution communication process, ensuring adherence to processes and timelines.
* Skills in setting up client sales meetings and maintaining a regular communication process.
* Experience of coordinating industry shows, product launches, and product/service training.
