Job Description: Director Information and Performance The Royal Melbourne Hospital Lead RMH's broad and diverse Information and Performance division Full-time, fixed term role for 12 months parental leave cover Enjoy flexible working arrangements and a monthly ADO We are seeking a highly motivated and suitably experienced individual to lead RMH's Information and Performance team, also known as Health Information Services. Primarily, this role's purpose is to efficiently lead departmental operations, implement innovative change and ensure the service performs with excellence. Reporting to the Chief Quality Officer, you will be accountable for Clinical Coding and Casemix compliance and services, Statutory Reporting, Privacy and Data Governance, and Health Information Services. Your new role: The Director of Information and Performance provides expert knowledge and leadership in all aspects of health information, casemix, data governance, funding models and statutory reporting. As the designated Privacy Officer for RMH, you will lead data governance and privacy related activities and responses. This role is required to champion change, lead initiatives and develop comprehensive innovation programs to deliver an efficient and excellent service. Work closely with RMH's Parkville Precinct Partners, with shared systems and expertise. Use of our world-class EMR and provide expertise in continuous development and refinement of the product. About you: Senior leadership experience in Health Information Services. Demonstrated expertise in reporting and funding models with the associated ability to influence change for optimisation. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Commitment to achieving excellence and leading with kindness. Clear and effective communication; both verbal and written.
