This role focuses primarily on the Oracle Fusion Middleware platform, including overseeing the transition of infrastructure management, daily operations, and automation tasks.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware, strong ITIL knowledge, and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.Key Responsibilities:Participate in the establishment of infrastructure managed services for the Oracle Fusion Middleware platform, including gathering information and preparing for service go-live.Perform ongoing middleware operations and administration, including monitoring, health checks, code/config deployment, backups, performance tuning, and availability/capacity management.Manage routine middleware tasks such as installation, patching, incident resolution, and service request fulfilment, minimising downtime and performance impact.Create and maintain operations documentation, including System Understanding Documents and Standard Operating Procedures.Align middleware operations with DevOps and Agile principles, contributing to automation efforts for management tasks.Collaborate with infrastructure teams (e.g. database, compute, storage, network, public cloud) to ensure optimal middleware platform operation.Ensure security compliance and adherence to best practices, in line with federal government security standards.Contribute to cloud migration projects, providing current state input for the transition to public cloud environments like Azure.Practice continuous improvement, keeping up to date with industry trends and new technologies.Key Skills & Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of experience in administering Oracle Fusion Middleware products such as Identity and Access Management, ADF, WebCenter, OSB, and BAM (on-prem and cloud).Proficiency in working with Linux and Windows environments.Experience with IT Service Management and adherence to ITIL frameworks.
