Northwest Regional Hospital Medical unit consists of 3 areas: a 27 bed General Medical Ward, a 15-bed Isolation, General Medicine Unit, and an 8 bed Acute Medical Unit (AMU) for short stay patients. We specialize in providing comprehensive care to people living with complex medical conditions including acute stroke, palliative care, end of life nursing, sepsis, respiratory and cardiac conditions, and acute delirium. The Isolation area provides care for various transmission-based infections including COVID-19.
Staff will have the opportunity to be rotated through all areas of the Medical Unit.

The Role:
The North West Regional Hospital is seeking a motivated Enrolled Nurse to join their team.
The Enrolled Nurse provides direct patient/client centred nursing care to assigned patients/clients, within the scope of practice of an enrolled nurse and under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse/midwife to achieve planned patient outcomes.
Details of Appointment:
Permanent, full time or part time, shift worker positions available, working up to 76 hours per fortnight. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $70,980 to $78,179 pro rata, per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type.
